Dalai Lama - Ball Point Pen Portrait

This piece is a portrait of the Dalai Lama with a combination of ball point pen and colour pencil. It was quite a tricky piece to draw since it was drawn free hand from a mobile phone reference. There is quite a lot of folds in the skin and the glasses had awkward dimensions which added another layer of complexity. 
The piece was completed using a BIC ball point pen and Prisma soft core colour pencils on A4 paper.
