Precipice

The piece is called ‘Precipice’ and represents the experience of being on the “edge” of remarkable change.
This change can lead to encountering the frightening but also encountering the beautiful. As depicted by the jelly fish and hands verging on close contact.
I was inspired by multiple unique compositional ideas. Using my favoured blue luminescent features and water concepts, in tribute to the theme of Eunimity.
I learnt some new things while doing this piece. Developing a new way to incorporate the use of gel pens with colour pencil. This surely helped add to the white highlight finish which can be observed.
This piece is being considered to be made available as a purchasable upscaled reprint in the near future.
